.:Hypocrisy?:.
Hypocrisy:. the act of persistently professing beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that are inconsistent with one's actions. Hypocrisy is a kind of a lie..
Ok I'm gonna be real with you. This is something that's been bothering me since I got into high school. You expect people that call themselves "Christians"to act Christ-like as the word means, but unfortunately some people think it's ok to drink and party on a Saturday, then go to church the next morning and say you're a follower of God and you love Him dearly. You think you've done nothing wrong. But this is very wrong and it breaks our Saviors heart.
Or when your taught about kindness at church then go and gossip about someone right after the session. God has called us to live holy lives. We have potential we just let things lead us away from what God has called us to do. You know that voice inside your head that tells you to say something or do something and you ignore it because you think it's just a dumb or crazy thought. Well it's the voice of God trying to get through to you.
So maybe if you hear His voice once you will pay attention more often.
God yearns for you attention. He wants to you to talk to Him, to laugh with Him, to listen when He has something important to say because He can use you to change someone's life.
Here's something to think about. You can't put God in a box. Because One: He's way to big, and Two: He's not just for you He's searching for a relationship with each of us. Trust me.
Here's a little of my testimony: You know, a lot can change in a year. God has been teaching me so much. I've been experiencing Him in so many different ways. I'm in the band right. Well when I'm upon the platform worshiping I open my eyes to see our youth group just sitting there. I knew that is not what God wanted. Then or now. I chose to let go of what I wanted and embrace what Christ wanted for me. I'm all in for Him. But I'm not the only one that needs to change.
These last couple of Wednesdays have been life changing yes. But did you embrace it? Having a life changing experience with our God isn't just once. It's everyday for the rest of your life. If you got hit by a 18-wheeler you couldn't walk in to the youth room the same, let alone if you could walk. That's how He is. If you really let go. Really go deep, and get hungry, your changed. If you pursue a life of righteousness
and completely let go of all the things of this world. He will use you. No Doubt About It!!
That's is how it's been for me. I saw what I was. And in Selah, one of my best friends from Teen Mania,I saw who I wanted to be for God. She helped yes. But God used her because she was faithful. She's probably saved thousands just like me. Listen to me. God loves you so much. 1 Peter 2:1 says, "Therefore, rid yourselves
of all malice and deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind." Be Christ-like. God has called you to be a leader of hearts, nations, and people.
My heart is to see Gods' children changed. To see your heart flourish with boldness and encouragement we have in Christ. He longs to see you take a stand. To stick out among all the hypocrite in this world and our own school. Gods forgiveness covers a multitude of sins. But repentance; real repentance, is when you ask for forgiveness then turn 180 degrees in the other direction and follow Christ un-distracted by the things of this fading planet. God has called you to be a mighty warrior, to fight in the war of these last years. Yes they are coming ready or not. He is preparing His army.
Be expecting great things to happen in the next couple of years. God is ready to pour out on you. Don't you understand?! His heart and mine break for the ignorance in this generation. Break free of misunderstanding.
Come find what He is ready to give you if you fight, if you bring hunger to your relationship with Christ. This is excitement that will not fade in me. God has sparked a fire that has been burning in my heart ever since my first real
encounter with My Loving King. This isn't just for me. I want you to know. I want you to feel the power, the greatness of our Savior. God was Slaughtered on that cross for you. He was all in..are you?
